Hverarond Geothermal Field
Cold desert, Hverarond Geothermal Field, North East Iceland. Suphur deposits leave a riot of colour in this cold desert at Hverarond Geothermal Field, North East Iceland. NASA have used this area for training prior to moon landings due to it's lunar landscape terrain.
